[edit] Adventure DV3 FAQ
- 1. Is my camera compatible with Microsoft Windows 98?
- Unfortunately, this camera is not compatible with Windows 98 or earlier. Your Adventure DV3 is compatible with the following Operating systems: Window 98 Second Edition, ME, 2000, XP and MAC OS 9.x or later.
- 2. My camera will not turn on. Is there anything that I can do?
- If your camera will not turn on, please ensure that you have inserted both the memory card and the batteries correctly. We recommend that you use Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH), Lithium, or batteries specifically designed for digital devices. Alkaline batteries are not designed for high drain devices like you camera and will drain rather quickly.
- 3. Does my camera have internal memory?
- This camera included 32mb of internal memory. You can upgrade the capacity by purchasing additional memory cards.
- 4. What kind of memory card does my Mustek Adventure DV3 camera use?
- Your Mustek camera can use either an MMC (Multi Media Card) or SD (Secure Digital). The largest size card you can use is 512MB. Please note that in order to use SD cards with your camera, you will need to make sure that the card is "unlocked" and that the anti-virus software in your computer is disabled. Please refer to your SD card user guide to ensure that the memory card is in the "unlocked" position. A workaround to this would be to use an SD/MMC card reader or use only MMCs. Here is a link to an FAQ on the Sandisk website that may be of some help to customers who are having trouble with a Sandisk brand memory card:
http://www.sandisk.com/tech/faq/37.html. You can purchase memory cards directly from Mustek at:
www.MustekDirect.com Additionally, you can find SD and MMC cards at any local computer, camera or electronics stores.
